Believe me, every single time I go for my dental appointments, it means another story to hear when my dentist gossips to her nurses in front of my face.
The usual, would be about the other dentists working there.
And today, she talked about ghosts.

First, she started about how some friend of hers came to her house and said that she’ll be successful in life if she works in a business. And that business cannot be concerned with metal. Some feng-shui stuff la. And she laughed and said that she DOES work with metal every single day,and how she could be richer if she perhaps changed her job.

Then she moves on to talk about a feng-shui woman who came to the dental clinic. Apparently, the feng-shui woman ‘inspected’ all the rooms and said that the room we were in had bad feng-shui.
The reason? The dental chair was facing a wrong direction

Gosh.

Imagine, I’m sitting there, with my mouth open and her finger in my mouth and she’s saying how the chair I’m sitting in has really bad feng-shui cuz it’s facing a not-good direction.

freaky larr...

Okay. I don’t believe in feng-shui and all that, but imagine if I was a really superstitious person. I’ll probably never return to the clinic. Ever.

Next: she talked about how the almost-dead people can see ghosts.
Then: the thai movie ‘The Eye’ about ghosts.

Haha..after that,I was done.
See?sitting in only through one appointment, and I get to hear so many stories.

Today was unofficially SPECTACLES DAY.haha..we (me,lynn,meiyih) kind of pakat to wear specs today.and so many people asked why am I wearing specs and I said, ‘because it’s specs day!’ x)..hahaha…dumb lar.
So to all those contact lenses people,don’t worry, we’ll inform u when the next Specs Day is. (:

There was this kind of Edufair thing in school yesterday, and yeap,

5s7 students are cheapskate people who get excited over free stuff.

You should have seen how their reaction was when they found out that u get free keychains from one uni.gosh.we were filling up some form at the IDP booth and the next thing I knew, they all started scrambling and rushed off somewhere saying that there was free keychains. x)

Then we went to the Malaysian Institute of Baking just to get the free cookies :D

(btw, KDU gives out free pens, the IDP gives out free notebooks if you fill in some form.and Dasein Academy of Art gives out free colourful badges.hehe)

and the best was this advertising place (ACT) where they’ll give u this really nice bag and there’s just LOADS of free stuff inside. Eg:

Colgate

Nescafe

Rexona

Biore

and more. . .

And everyone was trying to get the bag but they said that there wasn’t enough so we couldn’t get it.darn.haha..we stood at the booth for like so long pretending to be interested in creative multimedia and mass comm and advertising

&

sulynn even asked a ton of questions just to see of they would offer us the bag, but all we ended with was some brochures and a Shokubutsu shower foam.sheesh,such selfish people.i even filled up their boring form okay?!

i'll definitely be looking forward to more edufairs.

the staircase to the library and toilet is like, freaky.hahah

DULC’s Annual Church Retreat [1st may - 3rd may 2009]

1st of may (labour’s day!)

Now, my family isn’t exactly known to be the most punctual and the always-on-time people, so our original plans to leave home around 11-12 something turned into 1.15pm.

(actually,that’s not too bad heehee.. :D )



Spent like 3 hours in the car.

Then we arrived at D’Village.

stayed in chalets. Really, the place looks like we’re staying in a kampung area. So quaint! (:

Went for dinner.

And during dinner, aunty chris was trying to feed her.

A note to those who do not know who aunty chris is:

she’s the fiercest, most ‘bully-ing’ aunty in the church..

haha..so when Katrina won’t eat, she started scolding her.
And the way aunty chris scolds is seriously funny!and scary too.
It’s like:

“eay!stop making that face at me!girls cannot make that face!eat!”

“why so moody?! You having menopause arr?!”

“eh!stop crying already!!”

And seriously, Katrina really didn’t cry.you could see that she was way too scared. hahaha. x)

In the afternoon,we had free time like about 5 hours. And since nobody wanted to go to the Malacca town coz it would be jammed up ,we decided to go visit the Malacca Zoo! (:
